Three tools from my actual client toolkit: the content mix I plan every calendar around, hook formulas that stop the scroll, and the checklist I use to approve a month of content in under 20 minutes. No email required, just scroll and take what's useful.
Pure education bores. Pure promotion repels. This is the ratio I plan every content calendar around, and it's the reason accounts that post consistently still don't grow, the mix is off, not the effort.
Builds authority. This is where your expertise does the talking, and quietly out-credentials anyone competing for the same attention with less experience.
Builds trust and connection. The behind-the-scenes layer that shows there's a real person behind the feed, not just a brand voice.
Builds desire. Answers the one question every silent scroller is asking before they reach out: does this actually work for someone like me?
The first line is the only line that counts. These are formulas, not fill-in-the-blank templates, so they still sound like you when you use them.
Name the exact thought your audience has at 11pm. "I posted four times this week and gained eleven followers."
Correct a myth without naming who's spreading it. "Your [problem] doesn't need a quick fix. It needs consistency and someone who knows your history."
Validate a frustration before you explain anything. "If you've been told to just [common advice] and it made things worse, this is why."
Open mid-story so people need to know how it ends. "She'd been told for three years that it was 'just stress.' Six weeks in, this is what changed."
Say the thing people are embarrassed to admit. "I almost didn't post this because it felt too honest. Posting it anyway."
Lead with a stat that reframes the problem. "90% of [your audience] never got formal training in [skill]. It shows, and it's not their fault."
Name the private search they've already made. "If you've been quietly Googling '[your service] near me' at 11pm, I see you."
Defend your approach from the most common misread. "[Your method] is not [common misconception]. Here's what it actually means."
What I run every batch of content through before it goes out, whether it's mine or a client's. Takes under 20 minutes for a full month.
Voice accuracyRead it out loud. Would you actually say this to a client, or does it sound borrowed?
Niche specificityCould this post belong to any account in your space, or only yours?
Ethical/brand complianceNo language you wouldn't stand behind, no claims you can't back up.
CTA alignmentSoft CTA roughly every 3rd post, direct CTA roughly every 5th. Nothing posted with zero path forward.
Visual consistencySame colour palette, same font system, so your feed is recognisable before anyone reads a word.
This is a fraction of what goes into managing an account properly. If you'd rather hand it off, let's talk about what that could look like for you.
